Hillsborough, NC — The Orange County Office of Equity & Inclusion is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable community for all residents.

Black History Month is a time for us to come together and recognize the invaluable contributions of Black individuals throughout history, as well as in our present-day community. Through partnership and collaboration with the Orange County Public Library in Hillsborough and the Seymour Center in Chapel Hill, the Office of Equity & Inclusion is committed to offering meaningful programs that not only celebrate Black history but also encourage dialogue, understanding, and unity.

On February 2, 2024, from Noon to 1:30 p.m., the Seymour Center in Chapel Hill invites you to watch the movie, “Till,” which is based on the true story of Emmett Till.
